A little about me...
Holding a Bachelors of Science in Music Education degree from Hartwick College, I began working at Chatham in 2002. As I worked my first three years I continued my education with a Masters of Science in Music Education from The College of St. Rose. I'm currently the President for the Columbia County Music Educators' Association and the Zone 10 NYSSMA representative where I have served on the NYSSMA ad hoc committee for "Best Practices in Music Education" and the electronic manual committee. I have conducted all county groups in Columbia, Greene and Montgomery Counties.
With a busy "mom" schedule I have taken time off from advising the HS yearbook, directing the middle school musical and playing for the High School Musical, but I have picked up being an amazing cheerleader at soccer and Taekwondo competitions. When I'm not in school I enjoy spending time traveling with my husband and two ninth graders. I also love a good book and the discussions that come with it.
